Job Description - Front Desk Agent | 2nd Shift | Fairfield Inn & Suites

Fairfield Inn & Suites in Bloomsburg, PA, is seeking an upbeat Front Desk Agent to join its dynamic team! Our ideal candidate has strong communication skills and enjoys working with people.

  • 2nd Shift (3 pm - 11 pm)

Job Summary:

  • Process guest check-in/out, including collecting payment
  • Provide information about hotel policies, services, and amenities
  • Respond to guest needs, special requests, and complaints; alert the appropriate manager to potential issues as needed
  • Assist other team members in various assignments, including assisting with breakfast, laundry, or housekeeping duties
  • Maintain and clean the lobby and bathroom as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little or no supervision
  • Proficient with standard windows-based computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Must be able to operate basic office machines, i.e., copier, fax, printer, phones, etc.
  • Organization and time management skills are required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities
