Job Description - Front desk and School Support

Job Summary:

We are seeking a flexible, dependable, and enthusiastic individual to join our childcare team in a multi-functional support role. This position will provide front desk support, assist with meal preparation and kitchen duties, and offer additional help in classrooms and throughout the center as needed. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment focused on the care and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet families and visitors at the front desk, answer phones, and assist with check-in/check-out procedures

Maintain a welcoming and secure environment in the reception area

Assist with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness in accordance with health and safety regulations

Support classroom staff with supervision of children, setting up activities, and maintaining a clean and organized learning environment

Provide general assistance in various areas of the center as directed by the Director or Lead Teachers

Qualifications:

Previous experience in childcare, customer service, or food service preferred

Strong communication and multitasking skills

Ability to adapt to changing needs and take initiative

Must be able to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements

Pediatric and adult CPR & First Aid

Texas Food Handlers Certification

Complete staff file and required trainings
