The Front Desk Associate is a part/full time position that operates the reception area when the GM/AM is not in the studio. Associates will work mostly at the front desk, retail area, and on the floor to assist other team members when applicable. Responsible for booking appointments, returning emails and phone calls within an appropriate amount of time. The Front Desk Associate is expected to withhold company’s values and standards as they are the first team member the guest sees as they come in. They set the tone for the guest’s experience.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Keeping a clean and organized workspace
- Creating and keeping a welcoming environment for our guests
- Checking in and checking out guests
- Booking appointments over phone and email, gathering all information needed
- Responding to emails and voicemails in a timely manner
- Assist AM/GM with group bookings
- Assisting with inventory management
- Ensure the studio and equipment are maintained to company standards.
- Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
- Comfortable processing transactions and cash handling
- Assisting in setting up/breaking down technician stations when need be
- Keep up on product knowledge with our polishes as well as our retail inventory! Know what is in our sugar scrub, product uses and properties, price points, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively use booking and point of sale systems
- Strong knowledge of services offered and retail sold
- Good organizational and mult-tasking abilities
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 25 pounds.
