Front Desk Coordinator

We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator for our newly renovated Pediatric Therapy Clinic in Albany, OR!

Position Summary

The Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and families and plays a key role in creating a welcoming, organized, and efficient clinic environment. This position manages patient scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and front office operations while providing excellent customer service to children and their caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and assist with check-in and check-out
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Verify patient demographics, insurance eligibility, and referrals
• Collect copayments and update patient records in the EMR system
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
• Coordinate communication between families, providers, and clinical staff
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Support general front office administrative tasks

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of customer service or medical office experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Experience with electronic medical records and insurance verification preferred
• Friendly, patient-focused approach when working with children and families
