Do you love welcoming families, keeping things organized, and being the “go-to” person who helps everything run smoothly? We’re looking for a  Front Desk Manager to join our amazing team! This important role is the heart of our center!  


Front Desk Managers  at The Learning Experience are the first point of contact for families, children, and visitors. This role is responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere while managing front desk operations, answering and making phone calls, assisting with administrative tasks, and serving as a trusted keyholder when leadership is unavailable. Ultimately creating an environment where others can thrive.



Role Responsibilities:


Front Desk & Reception Duties:



  • Greet families, children, staff, and visitors with a positive and professional demeanor.

  • Answer phones, emails, and inquiries in a timely and friendly manner.

  • Manage child sign-in/sign-out procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area.


Administrative & Family Support:



  • Assist families with paperwork, enrollment forms, and center information.

  • Support Directors with record keeping, filing, and communication.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all child, family, and employee information.

  • Help coordinate events, tours, and parent communications as needed.


Keyholder & Operations Support:



  • Serve as a “third key” holder, trusted to open/close the center when assigned.

  • Support daily operations by assisting with staff coverage needs when possible.

  • Monitor safety and security procedures, ensuring only authorized individuals enter the building.

  • Follow licensing regulations and company policies at all times.


Qualifications



  • 2+ years' experience in a childcare, school, or customer service environment preferred.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Professional, friendly, and dependable demeanor.

  • Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, and childcare software a plus).

  • Must meet state requirements for background checks and clearances.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred


Physical & Schedule Requirements



  • Ability to sit, stand, and move between classrooms/front desk areas.

  • Work schedule would be evening shift for closing responsibilities 9-6 possibly 6:30.

Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
