Front Desk Manager

Breezy Point Resort is seeking a dynamic, leadership-oriented Front Desk Manager to oversee our guest services team. This role blends daily hands-on front desk operations with team management to ensure all visitors receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate pairs a friendly, welcoming personality with strong organizational skills to lead full-time and part-time agents successfully. This is a full time year round position.

Duties & Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations

• Supervise daily operations of the resort front desk, lobby, and guest reception areas.
• Manage shift scheduling for all full-time and part-time front desk staff to ensure optimal coverage.
• Train and mentor staff on check-in/check-out procedures, phone etiquette, and resort software systems.
• Enforce safety and security protocols across the front-of-house department to protect guests and resort property.
• Maintain aesthetic standards by ensuring a neat, organized, and professional lobby atmosphere.

Guest Relations & Escalations

• Resolve complex complaints and escalate guest feedback with diplomacy and efficiency.
• Support front-line agents during peak check-in windows, heavy call volumes, and walk-in traffic.
• Provide accurate knowledge regarding resort amenities, local attractions, and general inquiries.

 Financial Accountability

• Audit financial transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and shift-end balancing.
• Oversee folio billing to guarantee correct payment collection for all guest room charges and incidental fees.
• Monitor drawer reconciliation at the beginning and end of each work shift to identify and correct discrepancies.

 Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hospitality experience, preferably in a front desk or supervisory capacity.
• Technical Skills: Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with property management software (PMS).
• Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding communication talents combined with a natural passion for customer care.
• Integrity: High degree of professional and personal integrity when handling sensitive guest and financial data.
• Background Screening: Willingness to successfully undergo a mandatory background screening prior to employment.
