Front Desk Receptionist

Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley (CHPIV) is Imperial County's Medi-Cal managed care plan. We are a locally managed public health care plan committed to working with members, providers, and the residents of Imperial County.

As we continue to build something great, we are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to deliver exceptional service to our members and the community.

Our next team member will do the following:

• Greet all walk-in visitors, members, and guests at the front counter in a friendly and professional manner
• Provide general information and answer routine questions in both English and Spanish
• Direct individuals to appropriate departments, staff members, or resources
• Receive and process phone calls, basic forms, documents, mail, and deliveries at the counter
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front counter and waiting areas
• Assist with sign-in sheets, basic logs, and providing printed materials as needed
• Notify staff when visitors arrive for scheduled meetings
• Follow safety, confidentiality, and visitor protocols at all times

You may be right for this job if you have the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to stay calm and courteous under pressure
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
