Job Description - Front Desk Receptionist








 Physicians’ Primary Care of Southwest Florida is a premier multi-specialty primary care practice with locations in Cape Coral, Fort Myers, and Lehigh Acres. We are currently seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for our Adult Medicine division in Fort Myers. Monday through Friday. 

 

Our Check-Out Receptionists:


  • Receive, code, post patient payments, issue receipts, and process credit card transactions

  • Assist patients with account/balance questions or provides referral to Financial Counselor

  • Maintain accurate deposit information to include reports and encounter forms

  • Reconcile daily cash and maintains balances each day

  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations


To be Successful – You Need:


  • Knowledge of clinical cash payment policies and procedures

  • Great attention to detail and the ability to record information accurately

  • Ability to develop and maintain a good rapport and a cooperative working relationship with providers, staff, and patients

  • Knowledge of insurances, referrals, and eligibility a must

  • One year of medical office experience or a combination of medical education and office experience needed
