Position Summary: As the cornerstone of our healthcare facility, your face will be the first impression our patients see. Friendly customer service is a must. This position requires excellent customer service skills with patients and employees. Individual must also be flexible, organized and able to multitask.
Essential Job Functions: Greeting patients as they arrive and being a central figure of the front desk Answer incoming calls, take messages, transfer calls and make calls to patients as needed Prior Authorizations, calling insurance companies Identifying and resolving minor patient billing issues or questions Managing patient appointments, insurance information and co-pay collection Updating and maintaining patient records through our electronic system Working with our team to streamline the patient experience Maintain cleanliness of the waiting room and other areas as needed Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Must have front desk experience-Medical front desk is preferred Excellent communication skills Multi-tasking Ease with people, phones and computer programs
Hours: Clinic hours are Monday-Saturday 8am-8pm Shifts vary with rotating Saturdays for UC
