As a Front End Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in the daily operations of the front end. You'll support the team, maintain excellent customer service standards, and help keep things running efficiently and joyfully on the floor.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and support front end staff during shifts
- Ensure excellent customer service through coaching and by setting an example
- Handle cash reconciliation, returns, and customer concerns
- Provide training, feedback, and performance support to team members
- Communicate with department leads to keep store operations flowing smoothly
- Foster a positive, welcoming environment for staff and shoppers

Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory experience (1-3+ years)
- Previous customer service experience; high ethical standards with personal integrity
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task and remain flexible to the changing needs of the business
- English proficiency. Strong organizational and communication skills (spoken, listening, & written)
- Ability to meet deadlines, coordinate projects and work varied hours and days
- Strong aptitude to read financials and adapt to technology
- Ability to influence others, drive innovation and change while confronting and resolving conflict positively
- Demonstrated objectivity, neutrality, and calmness under pressure and timely follow-through to commitments
- Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
- Regular, predictable attendance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous accountability for scheduling, SPLH, goal setting/achievement
- Previous supervisory experience (3-5+ years progressive)
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Previous experience in retail, grocery/co-ops, natural foods, or related industry
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 10 pounds frequently, 20+ pounds occasionally
- Manual dexterity with ability to reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists, and fingers for extended periods of time
- Close-to-mid-range visual acuity to operate cash registers and focus on and/or read data and words on a computer monitor for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders, kneel, crouch, and bend occasionally required
Reports To: Front End Manager
Supervises: Works with Front End Manager to supervise Cashiers, Shift Leads, and Online Ordering Team
