The Staten Island Workforce1 Career Center is partnering with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to find qualified candidates for a Front of House Staff in Staten Island, NY. Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is known for combining great food, craft beverages, and curated films into one unique moviegoing experience. They are committed to hospitality, safety, and creating a clean, distraction-free space where guests can fully enjoy their experience.

Position Overview

The Front of House Staff serves as the primary point of contact for theater guests, delivering food and beverages while ensuring a positive and seamless experience. This role supports daily theater operations by assisting guests with seating, answering questions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Staff are responsible for upholding hospitality and safety standards while working in a fast-paced setting. The position plays a key role in creating an enjoyable and well-organized moviegoing experience for all guests.

This position is located in Staten Island, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to guests in a fast-paced theater environment
Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently during movie screenings
Handle cash and card transactions responsibly
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
Assist guests with seating, menu questions, and resolving concerns professionally
Work collaboratively with kitchen and theater staff to ensure smooth operations
Follow company policies, food safety, and sanitation standards
Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude throughout each shift

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of server or customer service experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and professional work ethic
Basic math skills for handling payments and transactions
Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods

Pay Range

USD $17.00 - USD $17.00 /Hr.
