Ayurprana is now opening a facility called So-Hum Mountain Healing Resort, that will help facilitate healing at all levels for an individual to release body work, detox panchakarma therapies, and educational class (yoga, breath work, meditation, nutrition, etc…) to help support an individual in his / her healing process.

Position Statement
The Front of House / Food Runner will serve as a food runner, responsible for delivering culinary creations from the kitchen to the guests’ tables. This role involves coordinating with kitchen staff, ensuring accurate orders, and maintaining food quality during transit. With attention to detail, this role will verify dish presentation and garnishes before serving. Efficiency and clear communication ensures contribution to seamless service and a positive dining experience. This position requires teamwork in order to collaborate effectively with both front of house and kitchen teams. Commitment to precision enhances the overall satisfaction of our valued guests.

Interact positively with guests and take action to resolve issues to maintain high guest satisfaction
Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
Ensure orders are accurate and presentable before they leave the kitchen, including wiping rims if necessary
Coordinate pickups so everyone at the table is service food at the same time
Check accuracy of orders
Add garnishments if necessary
Respond with appropriate action to guest’s requests and provide accurate information
Must maintain a safe working environment through ongoing compliance of safety guidelines
Treat clients, guests, associates, vendors and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Professional and concise written and verbal communication skills
Perform other tasks that are deemed necessary to the success of the retreat center and the associates
Requirements

Desire and ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with clients and staff
Deep desire for health and wellness. Knowledge or experience in Plant Based cooking preferred
Possess a courteous and tactful demeanor when speaking with clients and associates
Ability to give and receive feedback respectfully and gracefully
Practice sensitivity of oneself and the client’s boundaries
Physical Requirements- (not limited to)
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crawl, reach above and below shoulders, repetitive arm and wrist use, climb ladders and stairs, and walk on uneven surfaces.
Must be able to recognize, register, and respond visually to color and depth perception.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
Must be able to work indoor, outdoor, in extreme heat and cold.
