Description
We are seeking a Front of House & Catering Manager to help lead our farm-to-table restaurant, bar, and deli operations. Located inside Good Harvest Market, Hop Harvest & Vine is an independently owned, single-location business with a focus on scratch-made, natural/organic, and locally sourced offerings.
This position will focus on ensuring excellent front-of-house service, staff development, and coordinating and growing our catering and private event business. You’ll work closely with our Head Chef, who oversees kitchen operations, to create seamless experiences for both daily guests and special event clients.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and schedule FOH staff to ensure excellent customer service
• Coordinate catering logistics and manage on-site events such as weddings, parties, and meetings
• Collaborate with our Head Chef/Kitchen Manager on event menus and timing
• Oversee restaurant floor and bar operations, including customer relations and alcohol ordering
• Work with HR on FOH hiring, training, and team development
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide coverage for FOH roles as needed, including cashiering, bartending, or deli service
• Help increase catering and event sales through marketing, networking, and community outreach
• Monitor customer feedback and implement service improvements
• Assist in controlling FOH labor costs and inventory
About You:
• You have strong FOH leadership skills and experience managing restaurant teams
• You’ve worked with catering or event coordination—whether it’s executing events or growing catering programs
• You’re confident handling customer relations, guest service, and event communication
• You lead by example, with a cool head under pressure and a collaborative spirit
• You’re passionate about good food, great people, and creating memorable experiences

Requirements
Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of FOH and/or catering management experience
• Experience with deli or event catering is highly preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
• Valid Waukesha Bartender’s License (or ability to obtain one)
• High school diploma required; degree in hospitality or business is a plus
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
• Open availability, including evenings and weekends for events
• Ability to provide regular and reliable attendance
• ServSafe Certification preferred
