Job Description - Front Office Coordinator




For over 25 years, Potomac Audiology has been a trusted provider of exceptional hearing healthcare services to patients of all ages. This thriving medical practice has an opening for a confident and ambitious Front Office Coordinator with strong interpersonal skills at the Rockville, MD office.







As the first point of contact with patients, the Front Office Coordinator is integral to the practice’s success. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, managing appointments, answering phone calls, gathering patients’ information, and providing an exceptional experience.







Ideal Front Office Coordinator candidate will possess a positive and uplifting attitude along with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality patient care.





Responsibilities



  • Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries professionally and courteously.

  • Scheduling appointments for patients, ensuring that appointment times are efficient and optimized.

  • Collecting patient payments.

  • Maintaining patient records and ensuring all required documentation is accurately completed.

  • Conveying information with providers promptly.

  • Assisting with various administrative tasks as needed.


Requirements



  • Previous Front Office experience in a medical setting is a plus.

  • Excellent customer service skills and outgoing personality.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn industry-specific software.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
