Front Office Receptionist - Full Time

Bob Smith BMW-MINI is a family business located in Calabasas, CA. We are looking for a full time Receptionist for our BMW Sales Department in Calabasas, CA.  Our Sales Department is open Monday - Saturday, 9am - 7pm, and Sunday from 10am - 5pm.  The full time schedule will include weekend days.   

Team members in this position can be promoted internally to Business Development Agents, Warranty Administrators, DMV Desk, or BMW Product Genius. The Receptionist position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $18.00 and $23.00.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound phone calls and direct guest calls in a friendly and professional manner.


• Greet guests as they walk in and direct them to the correct team member to assist them.


• Be friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient when working with all customers and employees.


• Receive cash, checks, and credit card payments from customers and record the amount received on the repair order and/or counter ticket.


• Keep a detailed record of guest calls and visits using our CRM system. 


• Maintain a clean office space.


• Assist Office Manager and General Manager with tasks such as filing and other office duties.

Qualifications 

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 


• 1-2 years of relevant experience in an office environment is preferred. 


• Demonstrate excellent phone skills.


• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.


• Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks. 


• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Punctual with strong attendance history.


• Ability to lift/carry up to 15 pounds.


• Ability to stand/greet customers for up to one hour at a time.
