Job Description - Front Office Supervisor (Beverage Plant) Richmond, CA

Job Description

The Beverage Manufacturing Plant, located in Richmond, CA has an opening for a

Plant Office Supervisor.

Reporting to the SOX and Accounting Manager, the Plant Office Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the financial statements at the plant level. They will partner with Plant Management and Corporate Finance to guarantee compliance with Internal Control Policies and Procedures and escalate non-compliance concerns.

The expected salary range for this position is

$85,000 - $95,000

annually.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Understand and implement Supply's Internal Control Procedures and Accounting policies
Communicate Internal Control Policies and Procedures to all impacted parties in the plant and ensure that policies are followed
Ensure staff functions comply with segregation of duties requirements
Review, audit, and ensure reporting compliance for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX)
Identify, document, and resolve issues such as pricing discrepancies and labor coding
Supervise and direct work of office personnel
Oversee the Accounting, Sales Order Processing, Inventory Management, and Payroll functions
Oversee the ordering and maintenance of supplies and equipment for office
Participate in the development of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and monthly forecasting
Coordinate period close processes, financial review, and data gathering requirements for management and reporting
Manage preparation of government (Federal & State) reporting documents
Analyze daily yield and variance reports (e.g. waste and labor)
Develop Standard Operating Procedures and other training materials
Investigate and resolve unauthorized customer deductions and Accounts Payable issues
Complete and deliver performance evaluations for direct reports
Participate in various focus groups as requested

Qualifications:
Business Degree (4 years) preferred; strong emphasis in Accounting and Management
Office Supervision/Management (3+ years)
General accounting, budgeting required (5+ years preferred)
Advanced Excel knowledge
Strong understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley
Strong analytical skills
Managing/Developing staff
Strong oral and written communication skills
Time Management
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) ... Oracle Financials, Infor Products, etc.
Manufacturing / Supply Chain experience is a benefit
