Frozen Food Supervisor

The Frozen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Frozen Department, ensuring product quality, inventory accuracy, merchandising excellence, food safety compliance, and exceptional customer service. This role leads department associates, drives sales and profitability, and maintains a well-stocked, organized, and appealing shopping environment.

Department Operations

• Oversee daily operations of the Frozen Department.


• Ensure shelves, bunkers, and displays are fully stocked, rotated, and properly merchandised.


• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to maintain in-stock conditions while minimizing shrink.


• Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and promotional execution.


• Maintain department standards for cleanliness, organization, and product presentation.

Leadership & Team Development

• Supervise, train, coach, and develop department associates.


• Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity and performance.


• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.


• Assist in onboarding and training new associates.


• Provide feedback and support to help associates achieve departmental goals.

Customer Service

• Deliver exceptional service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.


• Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.


• Ensure associates consistently provide a friendly and welcoming shopping experience.


• Promote department products and seasonal offerings to drive sales.

Inventory & Financial Performance

• Manage inventory levels through effective ordering and replenishment practices.


• Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory as needed.


• Control shrink through proper rotation, storage, and handling procedures.


• Support department sales, labor, and profitability goals.


• Assist with inventory counts and audits.

Food Safety & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.


• Maintain proper freezer temperatures and document temperature logs as required.


• Ensure all products meet freshness, quality, and date code standards.


• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.


• Identify and address potential safety concerns within the department.

Store Operations Support

• Collaborate with other department leaders to achieve overall store goals.


• Support seasonal resets, promotional events, and company initiatives.


• Assist in other store operations as business needs require.


• Serve as a leader on duty when assigned.
