Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse at our state-of-the-art healthcare facility in Florida. We're seeking an experienced ER RN who's passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Position Overview

As an ER RN, you'll provide professional nursing care utilizing evidence-based practices while maintaining compliance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act. You'll work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes in our Level II Trauma Center.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Deliver emergency care interventions in a fast-paced trauma environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize critical thinking skills for rapid patient evaluation and treatment
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records
• Maintain current knowledge of emergency nursing practices and protocols
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor and support newer staff members

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent acute care ER RN experience
• Current Florida RN license or compact state licensure
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution
• BLS/BCLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Trauma nursing experience
