Full-Time Nanny Needed for Infant | West Loop (Relocating to Oak Park in 2026)

Location: West Loop, Chicago (Family relocating to Oak Park in 2026)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 50 guaranteed hours/week | 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $25–$32/hour
Benefits: PTO
Start Date: ASAP
Transportation: Reliable personal vehicle required

Job Description:
A loving and professional family in Chicago’s West Loop is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their happy and curious 8-month-old baby. This is a long-term position for a nanny who is nurturing, dependable, and experienced with infants. The family will be moving to Oak Park in 2026 and hopes to find someone excited to grow with them through that transition.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-time, in-home infant care
• Manage bottles and solid food feeding routines
• Maintain healthy nap and sleep schedules
• Engage the child in age-appropriate developmental activities (reading, sensory play, outdoor time)
• Monitor and encourage developmental milestones
• Drive the child to Oak Park once a week to visit grandparents
• Light housekeeping related to the child: baby laundry, family laundry, emptying the dishwasher, and tidying toys

Future Responsibilities (as child grows):

• Light toddler meal preparation
• Driving to classes, activities, or playdates

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience caring for infants
• Deep knowledge of infant development, sleep routines, and solid food introduction
• Independent, self-motivated, and reliable
• Comfortable with parents who occasionally work from home
• Excellent communication skills and open to feedback
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle
• CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
• TDAP vaccination required; COVID-19 and flu vaccines preferred
