Job Description - FT Nanny - JC 0397 - Ravenswood - 38 Hours/Weekly

Job Description: Experienced and reliable Nanny needed for a family of four in Ravenswood. This position is for a second Nanny. Start as soon as possible.
Compensation: $25 - $28/hour + vacation, sick days, PTO
Schedule: Guaranteed 38 hours per week. Thursday’s from 12:00pm-8:30pm, Friday’s from 9:00am-7:30pm, Saturday’s from 9:00am-3:00pm, Sunday’s from 9:00am-2:00pm, and Monday’s from 9:00am-6:00pm
Job Details and Responsibilities:

Two children, a 3-year-old, and an 18-month-old. The 3-year-old is in part-time Preschool three days a week.
Responsibilities include all childcare including feeding, monitoring and facilitating naps, developmentally appropriate play with the children, assisting with milestones, changing diapers, and taking to activities.
Light housekeeping includes tidying and organizing toys, washing dishes, children’s laundry, prepping lunches, etc.
Nanny should engage with each child and find common interests. Nanny should actively engage with the children in fun, yet developmental, activities, both inside and out of doors.
The family has one small dog. Nanny will only need to let the dog outside in the yard.
Mom is a stay-at-home parent. The family also has another Nanny. Nanny should be comfortable with this arrangement and working as a team with the mom and other Nanny.
The family travels multiple times a year. Nanny should be able to travel with the family to assist.

Qualifications:

Nanny must have 5+ years’ experience as a Nanny with strong references.
Nanny should be looking for a long-term fit and will be able to build a relationship with the family.
Organized and proactive. Nanny can work well in a fast-paced environment.
Nanny should be self-sufficient. Will be able to plan activities and keep track of children’s needs.
Strong English and communication skills.
Family has three levels in their home with stairs. Nanny should be comfortable carrying children up and down.
