Full-Time Nanny Manager – Bucktown, Chicago

A dynamic Bucktown family is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive nanny manager to support their school-aged children, with primary care for the two younger children, while also assisting with household management. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys balancing childcare with keeping a busy home running efficiently.

Location: Bucktown, Chicago
Start Date: Flexible (ideally mid-June)
Children: 3 school-aged (care primarily for the two younger children)
Schedule (40 hours/week):

• Monday–Thursday:
  • 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (flexible depending on the day)
• Friday:
  • Earlier start and end times available
• Additional flexibility needed during summer months and school breaks
• Occasional weekend or overnight hours may be offered with advance notice (not required)

Compensation & Benefits:

• $28–$35/hour (DOE)
• PTO
• Health care stipend
• Use of family vehicle for driving children

Responsibilities:

• School pick-ups and transportation to/from activities
• Manage and coordinate children’s schedules and transitions
• Prepare snacks and occasional meals for the children
• Grocery shopping and running household errands
• Organizing and maintaining tidy, functional household spaces
• Light housekeeping- load/unload dishwasher, tidy kitchen, kids' spaces.
• Children's laundry
• Ensuring children are prepared for activities, sports, and school needs
• Anticipate family needs and proactively support daily operations

Ideal Candidate:

• Experienced nanny manager or strong nanny with household management experience
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable with parents who WFH 1-2 days per week
• Comfortable managing a busy household with multiple schedules
• Safe driver with a clean driving record
• Self-starter who can take ownership of both childcare and home support
• Strong communicator who works well as part of a team
• Up to date on flu vaccine requirement
