Fuel Station Supervisor

The Fuel Manager oversees the daily operations of the Fuel Center, ensuring excellent customer service, safe and efficient operations, accurate cash handling, proper merchandising, inventory control, cleanliness, and compliance with company procedures. This position provides leadership and direction to Fuel Center associates while maintaining a safe and customer-ready environment.

Customer Service & Sales

• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.


• Assist customers with fuel transactions, merchandise purchases, and general questions.


• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to store leadership when appropriate.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-ready Fuel Center.


• Support promotional programs and merchandising initiatives.

Fuel Center Operations

• Oversee daily Fuel Center operations and ensure established procedures are followed.


• Coordinate opening and closing activities.


• Monitor fuel pumps, payment equipment, and other Fuel Center equipment for proper operation.


• Report equipment issues and coordinate appropriate follow-up.


• Maintain appropriate supplies and merchandise throughout the Fuel Center.


• Ensure operational concerns are promptly communicated to store leadership.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain a safe working and shopping environment.


• Ensure associates follow established fuel-handling and emergency procedures.


• Monitor the Fuel Center for spills, safety hazards, or equipment concerns.


• Follow established procedures for responding to fuel spills and other emergencies.


• Maintain required safety equipment and ensure it is accessible.


• Follow applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.

Cash Handling & Inventory Control

• Ensure accurate handling of cash and customer transactions.


• Follow established procedures for cash accountability and reconciliation.


• Monitor merchandise inventory and maintain appropriate stock levels.


• Assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating Fuel Center merchandise.


• Help minimize shrink through proper cash handling, inventory control, and operational procedures.


• Complete required inventory counts and documentation.

Team Leadership & Training

• Assign daily responsibilities and provide direction to Fuel Center associates.


• Train associates on customer service, cash handling, safety, equipment, and department procedures.


• Monitor workflow and completion of assigned responsibilities.


• Provide coaching and direction when operational or customer-service opportunities are identified.


• Support scheduling and appropriate department coverage.


• Promote teamwork and consistent execution of Fuel Center standards.

Administrative & Department Support

• Complete and maintain required Fuel Center records and documentation.


• Communicate staffing, inventory, equipment, safety, and operational concerns to store leadership.


• Assist with monitoring department sales, labor, shrink, and productivity.


• Maintain required logs and operational records.


• Support price changes, signage, promotions, and merchandising.


• Perform other duties as assigned.
