What the Role Is

Babylist is looking for a Weekend Warehouse Lead to support our weekend operations at the Lockbourne, Ohio fulfillment center. In this role, you’ll be on the floor with the team—guiding workflows, reinforcing processes, and helping keep things running smoothly across all warehouse functions. You’ll be a key point of support for the shift, providing direction and clarity to teammates, assisting with daily tasks, and escalating any issues to leadership. This is a working floor role, not a formal leadership or people management position. While you will not be responsible for coaching, performance management, or staffing decisions, you will serve as a trusted operator who helps the team stay aligned and productive.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has strong warehouse experience and is ready to take on more responsibility, with the potential to grow into a leadership role after consistent, successful performance over time.

This position is for the WEEKEND SHIFT ONLY– Friday though Sunday from 6:00am to 6:00pm

Who You Are

  • Experienced Operator: You have 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, with a strong understanding of core functions like receiving, putaway, picking, packing, or shipping

  • Process-Oriented: You understand and follow standard operating procedures and know how to help others stay on track

  • Team-First Mentality: You work well with others, offer help when needed, and know how to keep things moving without overstepping

  • Calm Under Pressure: You remain focused and steady when unexpected issues arise and are quick to escalate when necessary

  • Clear Communicator: You can explain steps, offer task-level guidance, and keep both teammates and supervisors in the loop

  • Strong English Communication Skills: You can confidently speak, read, and understand English to ensure safe operations, clear communication, and accurate task completion

  • Quality & Safety Focused: You take pride in doing things the right way and promote a safe, organized, and accurate work environment

  • Physically Ready: You’re able to stand and walk for 10–12 hours with breaks, lift up to 20 lbs several times an hour, and perform physical movements like pushing, pulling, reaching, crouching, bending, and twisting in a fast-paced environment with changing temperatures and regular warehouse noise.

  • Growth-Minded: You’re looking for an opportunity to demonstrate readiness for future advancement and take on more over time

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Support Floor Operations: Help drive daily execution across warehouse departments—jumping in to support where needed and guiding team efforts to stay on target

  • Provide Task-Level Direction: Assist teammates by answering questions, clarifying priorities, and reinforcing processes and expectations

  • Promote Best Practices: Help uphold Babylist’s quality and safety standards through example and daily reinforcement

  • Communicate with Leadership: Keep Shift Supervisors informed of any delays, concerns, or feedback from the floor

  • Support Training: Assist with onboarding new team members by demonstrating tasks and sharing tips that promote consistency and efficiency

  • Adapt to Workload Needs: Flex across functions based on volume or workflow—helping where the team needs it most

  • Prepare for What’s Next: Build a foundation for potential future growth by consistently showing strong performance, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
