The Fulfillment Specialist at Groundworks is responsible for executing branch replenishment and customer order fulfillment activities to ensure products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time. This role serves as a key connection point between branch operations, distribution centers, and the Supply Chain team, supporting the movement of products throughout Groundworks’ network.
To be a contributing member of the team, this role enables the organization to grow by ensuring fulfillment activities are executed with accuracy, urgency, and strong communication. The Fulfillment Specialist proactively monitors order status, resolves fulfillment issues, communicates with stakeholders, and identifies opportunities to improve processes that support service levels across the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute branch replenishment orders and fulfillment activities to ensure timely and accurate product delivery across the Groundworks network.
- Coordinate closely with branch warehouse managers, branch general managers, distribution center leadership, and Supply Chain partners to facilitate successful order fulfillment.
- Monitor and track order status, shipment progress, and delivery timelines, proactively communicating updates and potential delays to stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fulfillment-related inquiries, providing timely and professional support to branch operations teams.
- Partner with distribution centers and the Inventory team to resolve fulfillment issues, shipment discrepancies, and service interruptions.
- Create, maintain, and manage fulfillment documentation, records, and system updates to ensure data accuracy and operational visibility.
- Utilize ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools to manage fulfillment activities, monitor performance, and support operational decision-making.
- Identify and escalate fulfillment risks, service concerns, or process breakdowns to appropriate stakeholders for resolution.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to improve fulfillment processes, communication, efficiency, and service levels.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to fulfillment activities and branch replenishment orders.
- Comply with internal controls, company policies, and established supply chain procedures.

Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, customer service, operations, fulfillment, distribution, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across multiple levels of the organization.
- Customer-service mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with ERP systems or business software preferred.
- Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and follow established processes to drive timely resolution.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and thrive in a growth-oriented environment.
- Strong sense of accountability, ownership, and follow-through.
- Interest in developing a long-term career within Supply Chain, including opportunities in inventory planning, distribution operations, procurement, or related functions.

- Primarily office-based with standard business hours.
