Fulfillment Specialist - Free2b Foods

Position: E-Commerce Fulfillment Associate

Shift:  Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 1 pm,

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Classification: Non-Exempt

All our products are allergen-free (free from the 9 major allergens listed by the FDA and more). They are also free from artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, preservatives, hydrogenated oils, and carrageenan. Free2b products are made with great care and attentiveness in small batches using a handful of simple ingredients you recognize.

Job Description

This individual will process and fulfill all orders related to the Company’s e-commerce business, including processing samples and mailer shipments.

Essential Functions

• E-commerce Fulfillment - Pick, Pack & Ship


• Access orders from the eCommerce platform (Shopify) and Pick, Pack, and ship Customer orders promptly and accurately. Closeout orders within the eCommerce platform after the order has shipped.


• Work with Customer Service and Carriers for order fulfillment and pick-ups; resolve any shipping needs.


• Maintain the flow of inventory, performing regular inventory counts.


• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.


• Order & organize shipping supplies as needed.


• Submit inventory pull requests; utilize FedEx and UPS software tools to schedule and track pick-ups and deliveries.


• Quality check all outgoing shipments.


• Sample Shipment/Mailer Coordination & Fulfillment


• Receive, coordinate, and track all sample/mailer requests.


• Track inventory of all sample & mailer supplies and work closely with the warehouse team to ensure inventory of all frozen samples (across brands).


• Coordinate mailers of samples to the sales team & stores, etc.


• Help with the planning & implementation of large-scale mailer campaigns as they happen throughout the year.


• Assist with other tasks as needed under the supervision of the Sales & Marketing Coordinator.


• Help identify and develop specific goals and actions to improve the company's environmental and social impact in coordination with the company’s B Corporation Certification.

Commitment to company goals and products. Professional written and verbal communication proficiency is required. Computer literate in Microsoft Office Products & Excel. Knowledge of and/or experience with eCommerce web platforms, specifically Shopify, and online shipping platforms such as UPS, FedEx, and USPS is ideal. Good reading, writing, and math skills are required.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

Warehouse work environment.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand and bend for a few hours and lift up to 50 pounds.


• Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position. Work hours are typically Monday - Wednesday 7 - 1.

Travel

Travel is not expected for this position.
