Job Description - Full Charge Bookkeeper


We are seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to work in Cantonment FL.

 We are a growing electrical contractor in Cantonment Florida, and we are looking for a  self-motivated and experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper  to manage our day-to-day accounting  and support company leadership with financial  reporting. This position works closely with the President, the Project/Estimating Manager, and Office Manager to keep our books accurate, vendors paid, and payroll processed.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and follow up on past due invoices 
  • Prepare and send monthly invoices and service statements 
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts 
  • Record deposits, receipts, and petty cash transactions in QuickBooks 
  • Process payroll through TEL Staffing and assist with timesheet reviews
  • Work with the Project Manager and Estimator on invoicing
  • Assist with purchase orders, builder portal billing, and collections follow-up
  • Support the Office Manager with HR-related paperwork (new hire forms, benefit updates, insurance requests)
  • Support the President and Office Manager with tax-related preparation for the accountant
  • Coordinate with vendors such as payroll, insurance, and benefits providers
  • Generate regular financial reports for management review
  • Maintain organized records and ensure accuracy in ServiceTitan and QuickBooks  
  • Training provided for ServiceTitan software. QuickBooks experience required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3+ years bookkeeping experience (construction industry preferred)
  • QuickBooks proficiency required (Enterprise Desktop experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and vendor billing
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • High school diploma required, degree in Accounting or related field preferred
SCHEDULE:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
On-site in Cantonment FL - Open to flexible or alternative hours


PAY: Depends on the level of experience

REQUIREMENTS
