Job description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of proven accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Detail-oriented, Strong Organizational Skills, Dependable, Trustworthy, Time Management Skills
- Excellent attention-to-detail with strong interpersonal skills
- Analytical/data-driven mindset; good with numbers and spreadsheets
- Enthusiastic about learning new skills and software systems
- Optimistic and upbeat
- Self-Starter comfortable working independently
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling cash, bank accounts and revenues
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger, making adjustments as needed
- General Ledger, month end reports, trial balance
- Creating journal entries for all accounts, including fixed assets
- Monitoring the business' cash flow
- Payroll
- HR duties including time records' keeping of stuff.
- Daily invoicing and bank deposits
- Collections/Aged Ledger
- Petty Cash distribution/reconciliation
- Remitting income, sales and use taxes
