Full Stack Developer

Aspire Software is looking for an Full Stack Developer to join our team in Lebanon.

About the Role:

We are currently building a new Full-Stack DevOps team which will concentrate on new, exciting, fast-paced projects. AI will play a central part in this new team as they will use the cutting-edge AI tools for coding. If you have experience with AI coding tools or are highly motivated to master them, you are probably the ideal fit for this team. In this position, you will be reporting directly to the CTO and the Lead Architect. As a Senior FullStack DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for the rapid iteration of Proof Of Concepts and the DevOps of several end-to-end functionalities. The responsibilities of this role are shared between software development (Dev), operational tasks (Ops), technology watch of new AI development tools, technology watch for the subjects under his responsibility, and the planning and organization of work for the subjects under his responsibility

Responsibilities

• Create, develop, test(automated) and maintain various web/cloud features/solutions for Progitek's customers;
• Use AWS cloud technologies;
• Work on the full-stack, backend (Node.js, TS) and frontend (Vue.js);
• Integrate a REST architecture. Clean API ensuring good interoperability with servers;
• Accelerate your productivity through the extensive use of the latest AI development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, WindSurf, Devin AI, Augment Code);
• In collaboration with the CTO, Lead Architect, and other senior Devs, contribute to defining and articulating the technical strategy for projects or products.
• Leadership & Architecture Responsibilities: Vision and Strategy: In collaboration with the CTO, Lead Architect, and other senior Devs, participate in the definition of the technical vision and strategy for the project or product;
• Architectural Design: Participate in the design and maintenance of the overall system architecture, ensuring that it meets the requirements of the project and is scalable;
• Technical Leadership: In collaboration with the CTO, Lead Architect, and other senior Devs, establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines. For some subjects, lead the technology watch of the subjects and be responsible for the application of the subject;
• Code Reviews: Lead or oversee code reviews to ensure that the team produces high-quality code and adheres to best practices;
• Proof Of Concept: Build and validate architectural prototypes or proofs of concept if necessary; Security Monitoring: Ensure that the architecture of the systems for which they are responsible adheres to security best practices and that vulnerabilities are addressed promptly;
• Effort and Costs: Provide information on the impacts of technology on development and operations efforts and costs;
• Stay Updated: Regularly research and stay informed about the latest trends, technologies and industry best practices to ensure the team's and projects are at the forefront of technological advancements.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a combination of relevant experience and expertise;
• Experience as a full-stack web developer;
• Experience with Node.js, TS, and Vue.js;
• Experience with AWS;
• Experience, or are highly motivated for the use, of AI tools for software development (e.g. GitHub Copilot Agent, WindSurf)
• Experience with API development;
• Knowledge of network security;
• Proficiency in Git, Git workflows, and deployment pipelines;
• Good knowledge of IaC (Infrastructure as Code) workflows in Terraform (or OpenTofu);
• Working knowledge of database operations and maintenance;
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Problem-solving attitude;
• Collaborative team spirit;
• The ability to work in English;

This is an asset if you have:

• Experience with serverless (Lambda-like) systems;
• Experience with API development;
