Full Stack Developer

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a contract ssignment with one of our premier Investment Banking services clients in New York, NY .

Responsibilities :
t the firm, we are seeking a full stack developer who has expertise in Front End and be responsible for engineering solutions which will integrate different platforms in Voice and Data Network Infrastructure.
The full stack developer will join a team within the firm that will leverage existing technologies to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering amazing experiences for end users. We are looking for someone to help own problems and be able to demonstrate leadership and responsibility for the delivery of new features as well as working on complex legacy source code. As part of the development cycle, you would be expected to write quality unit tests, supply, and be involved in the test cycle, including proposing how an item can be automatically tested and deployed within our pipeline.
The role requires proficiency in systems engineering with a good knowledge of Unix and Windows, with scripting and programming skills and the ability to use 3rd party API's and to create secure and well-crafted APIs.
Be able to create unit/integration/functional/performance tests.
s part of the team, conduct code reviews for effective output.
Share experience, knowledge, and ideas to the team to improve processes and productivity
Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design.
Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities.

Required Skills : Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or engineering.
Relevant experience of 10-14 years in designing and developing of Web Applications using JavaScript or TypeScript/HTML 5/CSS.
Proven experience of front-end frameworks such as ReactJS, Styled Components, React Testing Library.
bility to design and implement robust, supportable systems in a global environment (full stack).
Have good understanding of source code repositories (git) and work tracking application like jira.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills and be able to communicate at the appropriate level with customers, engineers, and management.
With accountability, be able to work in a hybrid team.
Candidate should have good documentation skill w.r.t code, processes, and support procedures in a structured and effective manner.
Understanding of the need and purpose of well-structured logging.
Working knowledge of SQL on any RDBMS database.
Knowledge on unstructured data and NoSQL database.
Hands on experience with ExtJS and/or REACT is required.
Scripting Skills: Python, JavaScript or TypeScript/React/ExtJS/Node.js/HTML 5/CSS

Data Skills: bility to analyze and correlate data from different data sources.

Preferred Skills : Good to have knowledge of Network and Automation Tooling: Ansible, Spectrum, Forward Networks, Infoblox
Familiarity with routers, switches, and other network components from both a configuration, operational standpoint and asset management.
Experience in a highly regulated industry and understand the need for change control, risk and audit.
Good Understanding of data classification and sensitivity.
Good familiarity with Network Infrastructure (understanding of the relationship between hostname, ip address and mac-address) including types of network devices, the basic components of enterprise voice systems (IP Telephony, Call Recording, Voice Mail and Conferencing) is desired.
