Full Stack Software Engineer

About the Role

Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance software supporting private markets, venture capital operations, portfolio monitoring, financial reporting, and LP reporting.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role for an engineer who can work across Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and data-intensive applications while partnering directly with investor and finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance software for portfolio monitoring, valuations, financial reporting, and LP reporting
• Develop automated data ingestion and data-quality workflows
• Build tools to identify and resolve financial data discrepancies
• Design and maintain scalable backend services using Python
• Build responsive interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Design strong PostgreSQL data models for complex financial data
• Work directly with investor, finance, and operations stakeholders to translate business needs into software
• Develop AI/LLM-powered internal tools where appropriate
• Own features from technical design through production deployment and ongoing improvement
• Participate in production ownership, monitoring, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
• Production experience with Python, React, and TypeScript
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills with solid data-modeling experience
• Professional experience building software for private markets, venture capital, investment management, or startup financial operations
• Experience with one or more of:
• Cap tables
• Ownership and dilution
• Valuations
• Portfolio monitoring
• Financial reporting
• LP reporting
• Fund operations
• Capital calls
• Strong ability to work directly with business and investor stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience shipping and maintaining production software
• Ability to work in a hands-on individual contributor engineering role
• Ability to work hybrid in Foster City, CA or San Francisco, CA, approximately 3 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience at a venture capital fund, private markets platform, or financial technology company
• Experience with platforms such as Carta, PitchBook, Pulley, Juniper Square, Aumni, Chronograph, or similar
• AWS production experience, including ECS, CI/CD, and monitoring
• Experience building production applications using LLMs, retrieval, evaluation, or agent tooling
• Experience working with complex financial or investment datasets

Compensation

$200,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional compensation such as equity or bonus may be available.

Work Arrangement

Hybrid role with office locations in Foster City and San Francisco, CA. The position requires approximately 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility around the schedule.
