Job Description - Full Time Bookkeeper
Description
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording, reconciling, and maintaining financial transactions and records for a company. This role involves managing accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong organizational skills and exceptional communication skills. This is an on-site role with an annual pay ranging from $21.50 to $28.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Maintain CoGS vs Revenue alignment in order to provide an accurate view of company finances.
Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, coding, and payment processing.
Manage accounts receivable, posting payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts on at least a monthly basis.
Complete month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and financial statement preparation.
Generate and analyze financial reports to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
Collaborate with internal teams to address financial inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
Minimum Requirements
3 Years of Experience in bookkeeping or similar role.
Expert knowledge of Quick Books Online and Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
