Close to Home Caregivers is expanding our roster of clients into the greater VENICE area -- so we need caregivers who live in the broad region from Nokomis in the north to Port Charlotte, Punta Gorda and Englewood in the south.
Specifically, we need OVERNIGHT CAREGIVERS as soon as possible.

What You’ll Do
Personal Care & Dignity – For some clients, you'll support bathing, dressing, grooming, and safe mobility.
Healthy Meals & Home Care – Cook simple, nutritious meals; keep living spaces clean and organized.
Medication & Wellness – Provide timely reminders and track basic health cues.
Active Companionship – Chat, play games, take walks, and accompany clients on errands or appointments.
What You Bring
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or CNA preferred—but a big heart matters most.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to earn it soon).
- Know-how when it comes to housekeeping, meal prep, and safe transfer techniques.
- Proficiency in clear, compassionate communication and an innate respect for client dignity and privacy.
- Strength to assist transfers or lift up to 50 lbs when needed.
