Full Time Dining Services Supervisor

Park Place of Elmhurst, a nonprofit five-star CCRC living community, is located across from Endeavor Health Elmhurst Hospital. Our 16-acre arboretum-designated campus offers 180+ customizable 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom independent living apartments and a full continuum of care, including assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support. We are seeking a full-time Dining Services Supervisor to support carrying out our mission to deliver quality care to our residents!

Summary of essential job functions

• Develop and maintain Menu program for all clients in the Health Care community with updated listings of residents by name and with pertinent information. Process diet changes and new diets received from nursing. Print and post Supplement List.
• Obtain food preferences for all new Residents. Print daily menus for Health care Residents. Provide weekly menus to Residents and/or family members.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies
• Supervise the work of all Servers, Bussers, or Hospitality Aides before, during and after meal service. Assist in Dining Rooms as needed.
• Facilitate all catered events with other depts. In Health Care. Communicate food and supply needs to Executive Chef and Director.
• Set up parties, meetings, and personnel to handle such affairs.

• Minimum of one to two years related experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with a large number of employees.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks successfully.
• Serv-Safe certification.
