Full Time Dog Handler

As a Kennel Technician at HeartStrings Pet Resort, you will play a vital role in the care and well-being of our furry guests. Located in a prime area designed for relaxation and enjoyment, this position is essential in maintaining the high standards of care that our resort is known for.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, grooming, and exercising.


• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kennels and play areas.


• Monitor the health and behavior of pets to ensure their well-being.


• Assist with animal restraint during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed.


• Engage pets in play activities to promote socialization and exercise.


• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors.

Requirements

• Experience in pet care or kennel environments is preferred.


• Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques.


• Ability to lift heavy objects safely as required by the job.


• Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners positively.


• Basic knowledge of veterinary care is a plus but not required.
