Full Time Marriage and Family Therapist - Redwood City - Urgent Hiring

We are actively seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Redwood City, CA, for the 2023/2024 school year. The successful candidate will primarily work with a high school caseload, providing counseling services to support the social and emotional well-being of students.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Counseling: Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address the social and emotional needs of high school students.
2. Crisis Intervention: Provide support during crisis situations and participate in crisis intervention planning.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with school staff, parents, and community resources to support students' overall well-being.
4. Advocacy: Advocate for the social and emotional needs of students and contribute to the development of individualized support plans.
5. Bilingual Support: Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish) to effectively communicate with a diverse student population.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Master's degree in Social Work.
2. License: Valid California license as a School Social Worker.
3. Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting or with high school students is preferred.
4. Bilingual Skills: Preferably bilingual in English and Spanish.
5. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
