Full Time Nanny / Housekeeper for East Hampton Family #FT0146

Full Time live-out Housekeeper/Nanny required for an East Hampton family with one toddler starting ASAP. This role is a full time hybrid role as their child is in daycare, Monday through Friday. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child-related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their son in an active, engaging, and age-appropriate way after school pick-up. While the child is in school managing assorted household tasks would be expected (laundry, groceries/meal prep + cooking, ensuring the home is tidy).

To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone proactive, energetic and self aware who is wanting to partner with the parents in a loving household. The ideal candidate is someone who loves staying busy, shows initiative in all tasks and truly loves kids! Flexibility is crucial to this position - varied daily tasks are expected and date nights and weekend support (as needed) is ideal. Family has one small dog.

Location: East Hampton, New York

Start date: ASAP

Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours/week: Monday to Friday; availability to flex as needed for earlier/later days + weekend care. Someone open to date nights would be ideal!

Children: Son (born 2022)

Conditions: $30 - $35 per hour* gas stipend and standard sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations

• Work authorization is required for this role
• Recent experience working with a toddler
• A well-suited demeanor for working with toddlers and school age children
• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence.
• Proven tenure with multiple families including excellent references
• An open and flexible schedule for early/late finishes, weekend care and travel.
• Ability to complete all child-related duties (including, but not limited to: child meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying nursery and play areas, child’s laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
• Housekeeping experience necessary
• A professional appearance
• A clean driving record and their own vehicle
