Behavior Therapist – Full-Time
Location: Farmington, MO, and surrounding cities
Job Type: Full-Time (Part-Time opportunities available)
Salary: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $200.00 for valid 40-Hour RBT Training Certificate, or $500.00 for RBT Certification in good standing
At ABA Squad, we are dedicated to providing high-quality, ethically-driven applied behavior analysis (ABA) services to children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our services include ABA therapy, social skills groups, school-readiness preparation, tutoring, early literacy training, and both parent and professional training. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team. This full-time position offers a supportive, team-oriented work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a chance to make a difference in the lives of children.
A quick note: Because of the sensitive nature of the work we do, we’re looking for team members who are interested in long-term roles. At this time, we’re not able to consider seasonal or short-term applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement clinical programs as directed by a behavior analyst
- Create program materials as needed
- Collect and analyze data on behavioral goals, including reduction and acquisition behaviors
- Graph and track progress for each client
- Provide training to parents on behavioral protocols and model appropriate procedures when necessary
- Complete written documentation in line with insurance guidelines
- Participate in regular therapist training and development
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing, or willingness to complete certification at no cost through ABA Squad prior to beginning the position
- Experience working with children preferred
- Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance
- Proficiency with computers, electronic devices, and office equipment related to clinical treatment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- A team-oriented approach with a positive attitude
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment
- Dependable, with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability
