Job Title: Special Education Teacher (Mild/Moderate)

Caseload: Mild/Moderate

Position Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate disabilities across K-12 grade levels.
• Provide differentiated instruction and accommodations to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure academic and social-emotional growth.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and instructional technologies to enhance student learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, assessments, and IEP documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid California teaching credential with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of best practices in special education instruction, including differentiated instruction and behavior management techniques.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
