Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications, ensuring precise adherence to dispensing instructions from healthcare providers.
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling and education on medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Monitor patient medication therapy and compliance for safety and efficacy.
- Collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication therapy and outcomes.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and participate in medication therapy management (MTM).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all pharmacy operations.
- Handle and resolve medication-related queries and issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmacy practice, new drugs, and clinical services to provide the highest quality of care.
Shift:
- Third shift: 8:00pm - 7:00am
- 7 on 7 off.
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy experience.
- Pennsylvania Pharmacy license.
