About the role: Join an international development team responsible for securities processing solutions used across the Baltics. The team is automating and modernising services related to securities transactions, investments and custody.
This is an opportunity to work with complex, business-critical technology, broaden your technical expertise and gain valuable knowledge of financial markets. Previous securities experience is not required.
Depending on your experience, the position may be offered at mid or senior level.
You will be responsible for
- Designing, developing and testing secure solutions for securities and investment processing services.
- Building and maintaining backend services and APIs using Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot.
- Contributing to front-end development and system integrations where relevant.
- Modernizing, refactoring and maintaining existing applications.
- Collaborating with product owners, business developers and technology colleagues throughout the development lifecycle.
Who are we looking for
- At least 2 years of professional back-end focused software-development experience, preferably with enterprise, integrated or business-critical systems.
- Good knowledge of Java or Kotlin, Spring Boot and API development.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Curiosity, a continuous-improvment mindset and an interest in working with both modern and established technologies.
- Fluency in English and the ability to collaborate in an international team.
- Angular or other frontend experience would be an advantage but is not essential for a strong backend-focused candidate.
