Full-Time Bus and Vehicle Detailer

 We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a full-time Bus and Vehicle Detailer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the meticulous cleanliness and presentation of our fleet of buses and other vehicles. This role requires experience with buffing, particularly on black vehicles, and the ability to perform light vehicle maintenance. • Proven experience as a vehicle detailer, with specific expertise in buffing and polishing black vehicles.
• Proficient in the use of buffing equipment and various detailing products.
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with basic vehicle maintenance tasks (headlight/taillight replacement, wipers, etc.).
• Ability to meticulously clean and detail vehicle interiors, including seats, carpets, and dashboards.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
• Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
• Most be able to lift 75lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly wash, wax, and buff the exterior of buses and vehicles, paying close attention to black vehicles to achieve a flawless finish.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets and upholstery, cleaning windows, and wiping down all surfaces.
• Perform light vehicle maintenance tasks such as changing headlights, taillights, windshield wipers, and checking fluid levels.
• Operate and maintain buffing equipment and other detailing tools safely and effectively.
• Inspect vehicles for any noticeable defects or damage and report them to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Ensure all vehicles meet our high standards of cleanliness before being released.
• Manage detailing supplies and inform management when restocking is needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience detailing buses or large vehicles.
• Formal training in vehicle detailing.
