1. Personal Care Assistance: Provide hands-on support for activities of daily living, including eating, bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, and continence.
    
2. Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals, accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences.
    
3. Household Tasks: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry (wash, dry, fold), dusting, vacuuming, and general tidying.
    
4. Errands & Appointments: Escort or drive the client to doctor’s appointments, grocery shopping, or other necessary outings.
    
5. Telephone Support: Assist with making and receiving phone calls, scheduling appointments, and relaying important messages.
    
6. Companionship: Foster a supportive and friendly environment through regular social engagement and attentive conversation.

Requirements

1. Availability: Must be able to work 37 hours per week in Gurnee, Illinois, with the ability to start immediately.
    
2. Caregiving Experience: Prior experience in home care or a related caregiving role is strongly preferred.
    
3. Physical Capability: Ability to safely assist with lifting, transferring, and other physically demanding tasks.
    
4. Reliable Transportation: Valid driver’s license and access to a dependable vehicle to accommodate errands and appointments.
    
5. Professionalism & Compassion: Exhibit empathy, patience, and respect for client privacy and independence.
    
6. Strong Communication Skills: Clear spoken and written communication to facilitate care coordination and client interaction.
