Full-Time Custodian Floater (Oahu)

We are actively seeking a full-time Custodian Floater for the Island of Oahu. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and have a reliable vehicle for work. While prior experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or related fields is preferred, we are open to training the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain common areas: Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wipe down surfaces


• Travel between work sites: Provide coverage as needed


• Climb safely: Use a ladder to access higher surfaces


• Communicate effectively: Understand and converse in English with the team and property manager


• Ensure cleanliness: Maintain the cleanliness of common areas within the building


• Restroom and outdoor maintenance: Clean restrooms, the parking lot, walk paths, and restock supplies


• Trash disposal: Remove and dispose of trash in designated areas


• Utilize equipment: Operate a pressure washer, leaf blower, and other cleaning machinery


• Manage trash bins: Push trash bins as necessary.


• Stand and walk for extended periods


• Follow safety protocols: Adhere to all safety procedures


• Report issues: Notify management of safety concerns or building problems, such as burnt light bulbs, etc.


• Maintenance reporting: Report maintenance issues when necessary


• Perform all other duties as assigned 

Skills/Qualifications:

• Background check clearance is required


• High school diploma/GED preferred


• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions in English is necessary.


• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are mandatory.


• Strong public relations and communication skills are essential.


• Previous janitorial, custodian or related experience is preferred, and willing to train


• Applicants must be capable of performing basic manual labor, including: Cleaning common areas pressing, pushing, and pulling, frequently lifting and carrying a minimum of 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs). Reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, walking, crawling, squatting, climbing, and stretching. Navigating stairs and using a ladder, as well as standing for the duration of their shifts

 Schedule:

• Must have open availability (7 days a week)


• 40 hours per week

Compensation: $18/per hour
