Job Description - Full-Time Dental Assistant (Radiology Certified)

Northeast Philadelphia pediatric dental office looking for full-time Dental Assistant to join our team. 5-day work week, with 1 evening per week. No weekends.

We are a single doctor pediatric private practice with tight knit team that has been serving the community for over 35 years. We offer competitive wages with 401(k) match, health insurance, uniform allowance, paid holidays and personal time off.

The ideal candidate is hard working, a team player, detail-oriented, reliable, enjoys working with children and other people, and able to communicate well with both patients and colleagues.

Responsibilities include:

Chairside dental assisting

Sterilization of instruments and equipment

Setting up and breaking down rooms

Taking x-rays and dental impressions

Coordinating patient care with front desk

Maintaining and keeping clinical records in order

Unboxing materials, verifying orders and stocking supplies

Required qualifications:

Demonstrated desire to work in a pediatric setting

Experience as a dental assistant or graduate of a dental assisting program

Radiology certification

CPR certification

Preferred qualifications:

Working knowledge of dental management software

Speaking a foreign language is helpful

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
