Job Description - Full-Time Facilities - Grace Church

The Full-Time Facilities Staff member serves in a hybrid role shared between the Fort Myers


Shores Campus and the Cape Coral Campus of Grace Church. This individual functions as a key


on-site point of contact for facilities-related needs at both campuses, working collaboratively as


part of the overall Grace Church Facilities Team. The position is supervised by the Director of


Facilities. Responsibilities include maintaining buildings and grounds, coordinating repairs,


assisting with events, and providing facilities support across ministries and campuses as needed.



Key Responsibilities



Facilities & Grounds Maintenance



Serve as the primary on-site facilities contact at the Shores Campus.



Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.



Identify needed repairs and coordinate completion with the Director of Facilities.



Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.



Coordination & Scheduling



Work with the Director of Facilities to determine weekly repair priorities and schedules.



Oversee and coordinate volunteer help and community service workers for campus


projects.



Assist in planning and executing facilities-related projects and events.



Vendor & Contractor Relations



Maintain positive working relationships with outside contractors and service providers.



Assist the Director of Facilities in managing and reviewing maintenance contracts.



Coordinate on-site contractor work at the Shores Campus.



Administrative & Budget Support



Order cleaning and maintenance supplies in coordination with the Director of Facilities.



Attend monthly facilities team meetings.



Ministry Support



Assist Campus ministries with facility needs for programs and events.Qualifications



Experience in general maintenance, repairs, or facilities management preferred.



Ability to work independently while being part of a larger team.



Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.



Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and maintenance procedures.



Ability to lift and move items as required (up to 50 lbs).



Flexibility to work evenings or weekends for events as needed.



Work Schedule



Full time (Typically 10-15 hours at the Fort Myers Shores Campus and 25-30 hours at the


Cape Coral Campus. Weekly schedule to be determined in coordination with the Director


of Facilities).



Requires occasional flexibility for special events or urgent facility needs.
