Full-Time Fixed Route Bus Operator

Waco Transit System has immediate openings for Fixed Route Bus Operators. This position is responsible for providing fixed route service to the citizens of Waco and surrounding communities in a safe, courteous, and timely manner. Applicants must have a friendly, positive attitude and be willing to provide minimal assistance to passengers when necessary. Salary begins at $18.00 per hour after training is completed and includes two raises within the first year.

Experience in the passenger transportation industry is preferred, but not required. The qualified applicant must pass a D.O.T. physical/drug screen, background check and have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a licensed driver. A Class B CDL license with Passenger Endorsement is required.
