Full-Time Live-Out Domestic Couple Year-Round Position | Seasonal Residence | Coral Gables, FL

A private couple in Coral Gables is seeking an experienced, long-term Domestic Couple to care for and maintain their approximately 6,000 sq. ft. residence. There are no children or pets. The principals occupy the home seasonally, primarily during portions of October through February. For the remainder of the year, the Domestic Couple will remain employed full-time and will be responsible for maintaining the residence, overseeing the property, and ensuring the home is consistently prepared for the principals’ return.

This is a year-round, live-out position for a seasoned couple who has previously worked together in a similar private household or estate setting. The ideal candidates will be professional, hands-on, organized, discreet, and comfortable independently managing the day-to-day care of a luxury residence.

Schedule

• Full-Time Live-Out, Year-Round, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week

Housekeeping & Laundry Responsibilities

• General and detailed housekeeping throughout the residence
• Regular deep cleaning and maintaining the home to a high standard
• Care for high-end wardrobe, laundry, ironing, folding, and household linen care
• Packing and unpacking for travel
• Closet, cabinet, and household organization
• Care of fine furnishings, finishes, and household items
• Maintaining the residence in a clean, organized, and presentation-ready condition at all times
• Assisting with household inventories and supplies

Houseman / Property Responsibilities

• General houseman duties and heavier household tasks
• Upkeep of exterior areas around the residence
• Keeping driveways, walkways, patios, and outdoor areas clean and well maintained
• Occasional pressure washing
• Heavy-duty and deep cleaning of exterior areas as needed
• Assisting with interior housekeeping and deep cleaning when required
• Monitoring the overall condition of the property
• Coordinating and supervising vendors, gardeners, pool service, maintenance professionals, and other outside contractors
• Ensuring scheduled maintenance and repairs are completed properly
• Identifying household or property issues and communicating them to the principals

Light Cooking

• Prepare simple, light meals approximately two to three days per week
• Primarily light lunches and uncomplicated meals
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Assist with basic grocery shopping and keeping necessary household food items stocked

Property Management

• Oversee the residence during the principals’ absence
• Ensure the home remains secure, maintained, and ready for occupancy
• Coordinate routine maintenance and service appointments
• Supervise household vendors and contractors
• Prepare the residence before the principals’ arrival and always keep the residence guest-ready
• Maintain household supplies and be able to work independently, maintaining the property in the principals’ absence

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a Domestic Couple in a private residence or estate
• Must provide references from previous employers
• Must have previously worked together in a similar capacity
• Strong housekeeping, laundry, wardrobe care, and organizational experience
• Houseman experience with property upkeep and exterior maintenance
• Comfortable overseeing vendors and assisting with overall property management
• Able to prepare simple, light meals
• Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work independently during the principals’ absence
• Seeking a long-term position
• Must be local to South Florida

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting compensation approximately $180,000 per year for the couple, depending on experience
