Compensation: $40–45/hr, based on qualifications and experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3 days per week)
- 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (2 days per week)
Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per week

Family Overview:
A busy, career-driven family of four in Coronado/San Diego, CA is looking for an experienced and dependable nanny to care for their two children, ages 1 and 4. The family is seeking someone proactive, adaptable, and collaborative. The ideal candidate is someone who can bring both structure and creativity into the children’s daily routine while working as part of a family team. Their 4-year-old attends preschool two days a week, while the younger child is home full-time. Another nanny supports the household on Tuesdays and Fridays, allowing the primary nanny to focus on the infant during those days.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for both children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Maintain a structured daily routine, including naps, meals, and activities
- Plan and engage the children in age-appropriate educational and creative activities, including early learning support for subtraction, addition, and literacy
- Implement and uphold the no screen-time policy
- Prepare nutritious, organic meals and snacks for both children and assist with the one-year-old’s feedings
- Manage child-related housekeeping, including laundry, tidying play areas, washing bottles, and organizing children’s belongings
- Support the 4-year-old with homeschooling activities during the baby’s two-hour afternoon nap, using the family’s provided activity list and introducing additional ideas as appropriate
- Transport and accompany the preschooler to scheduled local activities
- Take the children on walks, park visits, and other age-appropriate outings
- Read books, sing songs, and foster language development through interactive play
- Help with bedtime routines when needed, including baths, reading, and settling the children for sleep
- Assist with light housekeeping related to the children (e.g., laundry, tidying up after meals)
- Communicate openly and regularly with parents regarding milestones, progress, and any concerns
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of professional nanny experience, including caring for multiple children
- CPR and First Aid certified
- Reliable, punctual, and organized with a strong work ethic
- Clean driving record and access to reliable transportation
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with parents
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Passport ready
- Ability to pass a background check
- Up-to-date vaccinations
- Non-smoker
- Must sign an NDA
$40 - $45 an hour
