Full-Time Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Full-Time Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper functioning, cleanliness, and safety of our fine-dining restaurant. This role requires a proactive individual who will maintain all equipment, facilities, and overall environment to uphold the highest standards of operation, comfort, and safety for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Ø Perform routine maintenance and repair of restaurant equipment, appliances, and systems (e.g., kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems).

Ø Conduct regular inspections of the building, facilities, and surrounding grounds, identifying potential issues and proactively addressing them.

Ø Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner to minimize disruption to restaurant operations.

Ø Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and storage rooms for tools and equipment.

Ø Ensure compliance with health, safety, and fire codes, making necessary repairs or adjustments to meet regulations.

Ø Coordinate with vendors and service contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance when needed.

Ø Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and order materials as needed to complete tasks efficiently.

Ø Assist in setting up or breaking down restaurant events, ensuring the space is maintained to the highest standards.

Ø Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues during operating hours and after hours if necessary.

Ø Communicate effectively with the restaurant management team regarding any ongoing or completed maintenance work.

Ø Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the continued smooth operation of the restaurant.

Qualifications:

Ø Proven experience in maintenance, repair, or facilities management, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.

Ø Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Ø Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs independently and efficiently.

Ø Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ø Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ø Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Ø Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

Ø Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to restaurant operations is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Ø Ability to stand, kneel, and crouch for extended periods.

Ø Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Ø Comfortable working with a variety of tools and equipment.
