Full-Time Nanny for Growing Private Family Delray Beach, FL

A private family in Delray Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced, active, and engaging Full-Time Nanny for their 2-year-old son.

The child will be starting school on a half-day schedule from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The nanny will be responsible for helping with the morning routine, driving the child to school, and picking him up around midday.

While the child is in school, the nanny will assist with light family-assistant duties and household tasks related to the family and child.

The mother is expecting another child early next year. A Newborn Care Specialist is expected to assist initially, with the nanny eventually transitioning to support both children.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, nurturing care for the family’s 2-year-old son
• Assist with the child’s morning routine
• Drive the child to school for the 9:00 a.m. start
• Pick the child up from school around 12:00 p.m.
• Prepare and serve age-appropriate meals and snacks
• Support nap routines
• Plan age-appropriate activities and outings
• Encourage developmental learning through play, reading, and interactive activities
• Maintain the child’s room, toys, clothing, and personal items in an organized manner
• Keep play areas clean and tidy
• Handle child-related laundry
• Assist with family laundry and folding during school hours
• Prepare and cook the child’s daily meals and snacks, ensuring they are healthy, age-appropriate, and in line with the parents’ preferences
• Help with general household organization and light family-assistant tasks while the child is in school
• Maintain a safe and structured daily environment
• Communicate regularly with the parents regarding the child’s routine, activities, and development

 

Requirements:

• Experienced working as a professional nanny with toddlers
• Active, engaging, and hands-on
• Nurturing, patient, and dependable
• Organized and proactive
• Comfortable balancing childcare with light family-assistant duties
• A safe and confident driver with a valid driver’s license
• Flexible and able to adapt as the family’s needs evolve
• Comfortable eventually assisting with two children
• Interested in a stable, long-term position

Compensation & Benefits
